Situated next to the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey is great to visit once you have taken in the baths in the morning, and after a spot of lunch (you'll need to have a break to re-charge, ready to climb the tower. More on that later). The abbey is a beautiful building from the outside. Bath really takes care of it's... More

Was a pleasant place to visit during our trip to Bath. The weather was good so it was pretty busy. It's a beautiful building.

It is a beautiful building and example of ancient architecture. It is situated next to the Roman Baths and faces a square that is full of shops and places to eat. It is a vibrant area with street musicians and lots of locals and visitors enjoying the square.

Bath Abbey has been there for over 1000 years, and is a great place to learn about history, faith and the Christian life

It would be such a shame to not include a visit to the Abbey whilst in Bath. It is free entrance with a suggested donation of £2.50. The ceiling is just outstanding and enjoyed reading the inscriptions on the tombstones and plaques that are fixed onto the walls.

Saw as part of an organized tour from London. Interesting historic religious building with a plaza in front which had some street performers.
