Very good for a break after a long walk. Interesting displays and gifts to buy.

Interesting displays and gifts to buy. Nice hot or cold drinks although cakes a little expensive. Dog friendly and clean toilets.

If you like proper cake and nice coffee in a nice environment, give this a try. It is set in a beautiful Shropshire location that we are so lucky we can reach fairly easily. Cycle here quite often and the ladies are as beautiful as the cakes. Thank you and see you very soon. The cycling fraternity.

If your figure can stand it, you must leave room for the home bakes by local volunteers. This is really the best cake for a long way around.

The Bog Visitor Centre shows the history of local mining activity. Its very informative and the volunteers that staff the centre are very knowledgeable. And while you are looking at the exhibits, you can take inexpensive refreshments.

Set in the middle of the delightful Shropshire Hills, one of the scones you will find! If you are into local history or researching family history, this could be the place for you.

What a gem of a place in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful cakes, hot chocolate and an oasis especially when it is wet and wild on the tops. A lot of pottery and greetings cards for sale.

Run by volunteers, housed in the old school house of what remains of a mining village, this is a perfect place to drop by for home made cakes and a decent cup of coffee. Free wifi. One is totally tempted by items to buy all sourced from local craftspeople. On the tables there are sheets to read of local Shropshire... More

Heard on Radio Shropshire about the Christmas fair and decided to go. What a lovely part of the county and a friendly Visitor centre with gorgeous home made cakes. Lovely walking country. We will definitely go back when they open again next spring. Even if you're not a walker or cyclist is a lovely drive with beautiful views.

Its situated in an old school and has a good selection of cakes and hot drinks. There are exhibits of local crafts and arts and information on the mining which took place in the area from 1730's to around 1920. The centre has a car park and is a relatively short walk from the stiperstones. Overall a very good place... More
