An oasis of calm in the middle of Shrewsbury. It has an unusual painted window which looks very modern although it’s not, there are also some Victorian cast iron windows.

This place is close the the famous bear steps and very old ,dating back to the 1500 I think but such a lovely church and lovely surroundings

This churches brick work looks different to others with its striking brickwork on the outside. Inside a lot of nice windows and architecture

St Alkmund's, if you can find it, is a delightful old church. From the outside it is one of the best around to look at, and the interior is also a delight, full of surprises.
