The museum is located in the upper floor of the historic Buttercross. You enter through a door in the opposite side of the alley behind the Buttercross. Exhibits go from the prehistory of the area through to the 20th century.

It doesn’t take long to go round the exhibits and displays here but it’s delivered really well. Entry cost just £1

It seemed a pity not to visit this museum while we were in Ludlow, but the collection is small, the displays unimaginative and we'd probably enjoyed spending more time at the nearbby Castle.

The museum is small but it has a nice collection of artifacts. It is only one pound to enter. The curator is a great guy to chat with. A must visit.
