This castle was one of the first built in stone after the Norman conquest. It has loads of history ! (Wars of the Roses, one time home of the" Princes in the Tower" and Prince Arthur when he was married to Katherine of Aragon)

Whilst a ruin, there is plenty still to see at the Castle and lots of history to absorb. Stunning views from the parapets and lots of areas for the kids to have a run around and play solider.

So much history in this large castle despite it being less than complete now with wonderful views from the towers. A very reasonable entry fee at £5 for seniors.
