Have visited the castle grounds several times during Food Festival events, it's nice to visit the castle just for itself. Particularly pleased with the shop and across from this a cafe, very good experience.

What can I say is an American , you got a lot of castles. This castle has a real feel of what you would think a castle supposed to be like not quite as elaborate as Warwick Castle but it still has the romance of...More

Gives a wonderful view over Ludlow and the surrounding countryside. Also shows how well prepared the Marcher Lords had to be, to deal with their neighbours.

This was really interesting castle with such wonderful history and right in the town! We could see it from our B&B window. We really enjoyed exploring the whole town of Ludlow and would definitely return!

This castle was one of the first built in stone after the Norman conquest. It has loads of history ! (Wars of the Roses, one time home of the" Princes in the Tower" and Prince Arthur when he was married to Katherine of Aragon)

Stunning building with many walls still remaining. Round Chappel for Weddings. No roof so not sure what happens when it rains. Old well still there. Set in a superb landscape.
