Well what can I say we were a party of ladies that went along to see ghost , we were sat in the circle with great views , no sooner had the play started but the row of ladies behind us wouldn't stop talking , laughing , messing on mobile phones , up and down to the toilet, singing unchained melody... The production was absolutely excellent and very funny. Wouldn't hesitate to see it again. My biggest gripe is with the Lyceum. I am only 5'2" but find that the leg room is sadly deficient. I find myself fidgeting the whole time which must be annoying for those around me. If I can I try to book an aisle seat so... More

We were fortunate enough to get tickets to see "The Play That Goes Wrong," but given the popularity of the show we could only choose between the back rows of the stalls or up in the Balcony. We opted for the latter option. Arriving around 30 minutes before the auditorium opened we were able to make our way up to... More

Well what can I say, as regular theatre goers in Sheffield we love both the Crucible and Lyceum theatres, but, tonight is the first time we have ever walked out of a show before it has finished. We must have both had a charisma bypass because we both sat there watching others laugh while watching poor slapstick comedy with telegraphed... More

Brilliant adaptation of the famous film. The story was very well adhered too, with more up to date songs. The atmosphere in the theatres was electric. Very enjoyable Saturday afternoon.

We visited the theatre to see Blood Brothers and the show was excellent. We have not been to the theatre for years and did not realise what we have been missing.

It is well situated in the centre of the city, near to the railway station, tram routes, hotels, restaurants, cathedrals and Peace gardens. I have visited this theatre to see different performances over the years. and have to date not been disappointed with any production. However, should the performance not match your expectations, the inside of the theatre is so... More

I wondered how they were going to present such an iconic film as a musical. On the whole they did a pretty good job. The problem is apart from the theme tune of the film Unchained Melody, the rest of the songs are fairly generic and unmemorable. The cast are all very talented although I did rather hope for a...
