Though appearing small when you enter, the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife & Falconry Centre has an impressive array of animals from guinea pigs and goats through to tenrecs and agoutis, the latter of which walk around among you in a small themed area. The park itself is looked after a small by a but very friendly and knowledgeable team who... More

Lots to do even on a cold day, staff are great and the animal talks are very informative. There are seasonal themes and tractor trailer rides on some days. This place has been extended over the years and now has a large outdoor play area. I have visited with children aged 2-14 and they have all enjoyed it.

I've been taking my daughter here for years and every time we go there's always something new to see. I love the fact that she's been able to get in amongst the animals, holding and touching them. We've got such lovely memories of our visits.

Very easy to get to lots of parking. A great size if you are with little ones as its all an easy walk round. Butterfly house was quite mystical as you just don't see that many at one time

Came here as a meeting place for family and friends. My other half had a meeting with the meerkats bought for her which was a fantastic experience. All in all a fabulous day, the butterfly house was really interesting

We come here a bit. Santa's grotto was good. Tractor ride is fun if you don't mind being squirted with water. Cafe is too small so either go at 11:30 for dinner or after 1:45 if you want to get a seat. In nice weather there are picnic benches on the enclosed play area.
