Just spent 4 days at The British Swimming Champs. The centre is ideally located from the station and tram stops, shops, hotels and eateries. The cafe is efficient and reasonably priced. The pool is lovely, plenty of staff all week kept the place spotless during the really busy period.

I can recommend the diving club for children that takes place every morning in the school holidays from 9.30 to 11am, costing £8. The diving school is ran seperately and you can email them direct and have to BACS pay in advance. My son and his friend have completed all the possible swimming levels locally, and wanted to challenge themselves... More

I visited for the 1st round of the World Championship qualifiers. The staff on the ticket desk was very welcoming. The snooker is played in a large room with 11 tables. There is tiered seating for tables 1 to 6 and 2 rows of seats for 7 to 11. One useful point is that if you have a bag or... More

wish it opened earlier at weekends for swimming, wish they were more organised with staffing however, its a great venue to practise swimming and turns and then break it up with some fun on the slides

Took my two small children ages 3 years and 16 weeks, along with their Grandparents today. The leisure pool was not fully open. Couldn't go in the toddler pool - no rapids. All of water was running - it looked great but we were told we couldn't go in. Could only go in the, cold, and deep, centre pool. The... More

The cafe is has reasonable prices although the coffee isnt very nice. I came on the 18th Feb and again 19th feb for the bucs karate competition and in the male toilets there is a smudge of poo on a cubical wall which has not been cleaned. Toilet roll everywhere and the general cleanliness is of a poor standard.

Wonderful day at Ponds Forge watching daughter competing at Sheffield. So many of the UKs top swimmers present, daughter even got a selfie with Adam Peaty!! Cafe is great for drinks and food and the facilities are wonderful.

My son loves the waterslides at Ponsforge, but the pool and changing area are absolutely filthy, they normally visit on a Saturday afternoon. My husband will not take him anymore because its so dirty!

Just recently visited Sheffield on a business trip and went to Ponds Forge for lane swimming. £7.55 for a swim is most likely the highest cost I have pains ever with all my travels. However the pool and changing rooms are very clean and there s lots of room.

Within 5 minutes of being in the pool I was told to leave because apparently the life guard saw us throwing a floating ring 3 times which did not happen, the staff are also very rude and liars.
