It is a good visit for tourists but not really amazing as a place, i was much more interested about the history behind the castle than the place itself.

We were lucky enough to be in Oxford the weekend they were doing the tour and entrance for free so didn't pay. I only live 10 miles away and have never thought about visiting this attraction as I'll be honest thought it would be rubbish!...More

I visited this attraction with two friends, all students. The tour was very interesting, informative and funny thanks to the amazing tour guide who was so engaging. Lots of stories from the past, all interesting and funny. Would definitely go again with the family.

I enjoyed my tour - it takes an hour and includes a lot of steps, but if you have the stamina it's well worth it.

There were about three children under 5 on the tour I went on and the guide made it entertaining for them, so I'm sure your children will enjoy it!
