Just turned up on Good Friday before lunch and didn't expect much. Wow while it is a small circuit the turns really drain a lot of energy out of you!

Had a great afternoon here for a mates stag do 13 of us split into 2 groups of 6 and 7 10 minutes practice/qualifying followed by a heat race each followed by a 30 lap race for the top for the 3 slowest drivers with the fastest 7 going into a final 30 lap race. The track is located within... More

I booked an hour slot of 3 x 20 minutes driving...which was completely exhausting but great! And adventure to find the office due to lack of signage...so I'm glad we were early. 3 members of staff, all welcoming, polite and helpful. The obligatory paperwork and helpful dvd was followed by a clothing change...all nice and clean which I'm happy about... More

My boyfriend and I did a 15 minute ride on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The safety briefing was excellent. They supplied us with the proper clothing and headgear. I was worried that the clothing might be a bit icky but I was delighted to find that they appear to launder the balaclavas and gloves after every use. The track itself... More

Great track overall. It was drizzling with rain when we arrived-and-drive'd, but in the racing suits and helmets we were given you couldn't feel the rain at all... apart from the slippery track, which meant you had to be extra careful around the corners but actually made it more fun. The marshalls were very prompt getting us back on track... More

Although first impressions aren't great, you can see that the track itself and the karts are well cared for. The safety briefing at the beginning is thorough and very useful. You might want to bring an extra couple of £1 coins to buy your own balaclava rather than use one of the free rented ones which have probably been sweated... More

Although it's not a "first class" facility, I have enjoyed the use of this great little track a few times over several years. It gives opportunities for close racing, and the equipment is as even as you can expect from an "arrive and drive" organisation. The track surface is a little worn and broken up in places, but this just... More

When we arrived the place looked run down and old. The safety briefing was explained good but the room it was in was crammed and it was in the same room as the kitchen! When we went out on track the weather was dry. However the track was slippery and the go-kart I was in the steering wheel was faulty.... More

Thank you for your comments. Due to the stadium being a Conservation area and the Old tote Building used by the Karting being a listed building, unfortunately we have no control over their appearance. The Karts steering has no faults, the track slippery condition will cause drastic under-steer if your corner entry speed is to high, this is normal and... More

My son was interested in having a go at carting and I wanted to find out about getting a session for his 11th birthday. I rang to find out more and spoke to Andy Cooper, who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He recommended that it was best for my son to start with a lesson so that he would begin... More
