Oxford Official Walking Tours are fun and informative. The best way to explore Oxford’s history, University, and what lies hidden behind the College gates is on foot with a professional Green Badge Guide. There is a tour for all interests including the popular City and University Tour (as an introduction) and tours for fans of Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland and Inspector Morse, as well as CS Lewis and Tolkien and Philip Pullman. Your tour will be conducted by a professionally trained guide who holds Green Badge awarded by the national Institute of Tourist Guiding. Your guide will also be a member of the Oxford Guild of Tour Guides, and able to answer any questions you may have and make suggestions of where else to see after your tour.

This was an excellent tour of central Oxford, centering on Oxford University and the various colleges. The guide, Dave, enthusiastically gave a history of Oxford from an early fording spot on the Thames for oxen (Ox ford) to the present day. More information was given...More

We lucked into Tom as our guide for a recent Morse tour in Oxford. He knows (and apparently loves) the whole Morse series (Morse, Lewis, Endeavour) as well as Oxford. As he talked about a particular college or street scene, he would come up with...More

A very knowledgeable tour guide, Leigh, with a real enthusiasm for her subject, and an engaging manner, managed to pack a great deal of interesting information into the tour, plus some extra history of the city of Oxford itself.
