We were very pleased by the tour and would recommend getting the castle ticket also. You saved about 10 pounds doing it this way and each tour was 2 hours which made it a full day for around 20 per person. The tour only covered Oxford U so don't expect more but it was really good. And don't go to... More

First, WATCH out for all of the dodgy operators out there offering 'free tours' and shoving leaflets at you. Cowboys and conmen. We are huge Morse and Lewis fans and booked the Official Morse walking tour direct with the Information office on Broad Street. It is the 'Experience Oxfordshire Official Walking Tour' for Lewis and Morse stories and locations. Our... More

We really enjoyed our tour with Jean. She was informative and witty and interacted with all members of our tour group well. I was impressed with her knowledge of all of the colleges--while we only went inside two it was clear that she knew all of them well. We got a good overview of Oxford and knew where we wanted... My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 walking tour with our guide and got to know this historic city a bit better. Our guide was well informed and had a plethora of anecdotes which added colour to the history and culture of the colleges and university. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to walk around Exeter College's dining hall, quad... More

Bella guided me for a half day on sites associated with Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. Her professional knowledge made the story come alive and I now better understand this important, seemingly childlike, story. Some time for Harry Potter, Regency architecture, and Charles Darwin too..

It was a lot of fun, educational and we though it was degree day, Ian even got us into two colleges/universities. Thank... More

My fiancée and myself were given a fabulously knowledgeable and passionate 'Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour ' tour. Leigh, our guide was fantastic. The tour itself was very detailed and covered a great deal of Oxford, linked to the tv series. The tour was two hours long, which flew by. We saw parts of Oxford we hadn't found on our... More

We went on the walking tour of the city and colleges of Oxford and it was fascinating. We visited the dining room of Exeter college and and the chapel of another, learnt about the structure of the university, traditions and history of the city. Run by the tourist office, the walk was very interesting and let us see places that... More

I booked the Experience Oxfordshire combination walking and hop-on-hop-off bus tour in advance for me and my two children ages 10 and 14. We never used the bus portion of the tour, and I wouldn't suggest booking both if you have only one day in Oxford. After a wonderful guided tour with Kate, we opted to head back on foot... More
