We were enjoying our day out at Grey's Court until we needed to use the toilets. On entering an empty cubicle I noticed toilet paper rolls where strewn all over the floor. Then I noticed that the lock was broken and couldn't lock the door...More

Very small but interesting house that shows the history of the property where you can still see aspects of it being lived in well into 20th century. Informative early guided tour before the house opens freeflow to public. Gardens are wonderful set out as a...More

We have been many times to enjoy the gardens and in the spring the bluebells but never the house. This we put right and it's delightful, cosy and full of history. It's not a big imposing mansion, there aren't that many rooms but the tour...More

It is always good to see how the other half lived, and you can certainly do that here. The house is a National Trust property furnished with all the furniture of the owner. That furniture - the carpets, the chairs, the desks and so on,...More

This National Trust house is an absolute delight. It is not so big as your feet ache after walking forever, but not so small as to be disappointing. The best features are the beautifully maintained gardens and the home made cakes in the little cafe....More

A really lovely house and garden, and we will go back again. A happy place. Full of interesting things and felt like a home, not a show off piece, despite being Grand. Well worth a visit.

I have an NT card so does not cost me the entrance fee, how ever a non member may well find this quite expensive, the house and grounds are great to see but as the house is preserved in the state of the last family...More

The gardens were our highlight. "Garden Rooms" designed by the owner are marvelous and we're still blooming. Orchards of apples and pears available for taking. Magnificent home and out buildings dating to 1500's and superbly restored. A must see if near Henley!
