Hidden alley with nice independant shops
Jun 2018 • Friends
Look for the flying horse wire statue and come through the door step of this little covered passage. Loads of little independant shops are waiting for you. Whether you like art, cheeses or Nottingham made craft gifts, you'll find intersting things there. Everything is a bit pricey, but you'll be supporting Nottingham craftmen, from the barber to the cute cats gift makers. Pop there just for the cheese (as a French person, I can tell you this is a good place to find yummy treats made in the UK), to flee the rain or just to cross from the tram line to St Peter church

Brew Cavern.
Mar 2019 • Friends
Flying Horse Walk is a shopping arcade we visited on our resent 6 day trip to Nottingham and what a wonderful place this is.
Home to some top end retail outlets and artisan boutique shops all housed in a magnificent looking building.
Normally I detest the thought of shopping on any holiday i take but with Flying Horse Walk I made an exception, there's a shop in here that specialises in local real ales and beers, it's called Brew Cavern ,here we purchased some great local beers to take back to our home town of Liverpool ,staff were really nice and the beer great value for money considering the quality of the beers we purchased.
Easy to locate on Flying Horse Walk facing the beautiful St Peters Church.
Well worth checking out if your in the area.

Fabulous Shopping Arcade
Mar 2019 • Couples
Interesting choice of shops and art galleries. We particularly visited to buy from the cheese shop which is lovely, so much choice, a bit pricy but is Artisan so bound to cost more.

Lovely passage, Cheese shop is awful though
Jan 2019 • Friends
This is a lovely little 'secret' hidden away walk where there are a few nice shops (albeit some expensive shops). There is a nice art gallery etc. I'd say even if you're walking through it is nice to browse at certain shops.

The only let down and disappointment of this area of Nottingham city centre is the Cheese shop. The staff members (all girls) are lovely. The only two problems are the two middle aged men that work there. Im not sure if they are the owners but they do not act like it. They were rather unprofessional and rude when me and my family browsed their little shop. The only help that was provided was from the young looking girls that work there. As far as the middle aged men, they were very grumpy looking and we must have walked in, in the middle of an argument as they were shooting each other dirty looks through our whole visit. A definite DO NOT visit.

Other than that, a lovely little walkway.

Quality Shortcut and Well Lit Walk
Jan 2019 • Solo
regular walkers in Nottingham walk here less often than other walkable areas - an ideal shortcut from St.Peter's to Cheapside, avoiding the Macdonalds and Card Factory on the main thoroughfare, and their inevitable foot traffic.

Perfect also for non-walkers, as the area is smooth and easy on a pair of wheels.

would definitely walk again. 10/10.

Smart boutiques
Oct 2018 • Couples
Tucked away in Nottingham city centre is an array of boutiques in Flying Horse walk, some veru interesting shops and not your typical high street fare, sort of places you would normally find in London, a real treat even if just browsing.

Nice good paving and excellent width to walk in. The stores are almost all occupied making the walk safe. Good walk. Will walk again.

Interesting shops near city centre
Apr 2018 • Friends
A small arcade carved through some of the old buildings that included the famous Flying Horse pub that dated from the 15th century. The pub exterior is still there and adds some charm to the block.
There are some interesting aka smart and pricy shops that are worth a wander.

Interesting little shops
Feb 2018 • Friends
This is a lovely little shopping arcade with some good shops and galleries. it is easy to walk past an miss but well worth wandering down, even if it is to window shop. The galleries have a variety of art work to suit most tastes.
