First visit
Jun 2021 • Couples
Went to see a film last night which was excellent by the way. As a first time visitor I was impressed by the facilities. Small cosy bar area and tidy auditorium. Easy to collect tickets at the box office too.

Management excellence at the Bonington during Covid
Aug 2020
What a wonderful job the management of the Bonington Theatre have done in order to ensure people are able to enjoy the delights of their films etc. in comfort and safety is outstanding.

The way they have designed their auditorium is brilliant, whether people are in family groups or on their own, all are catered for.

It certainly made sure my friend and I would not be afraid to go back whenever there was something we would like to see.

Well Done the Bonington!!

Kinky boots
Feb 2020 • Friends
We've visited bonington theatre a few times, as a family with the kids but on this occasion it was a night with friends. We had a drink in the bar and watched kinky boots. Great prices, parking is good and close to asda so you can buy your own snacks and take in. Only thing I'd say needs improvement is the toilets as there is only 3 cubicles so at intervals it's a long wait.

A small Studio Theatre with a warm heart

Went to see The RSC performing an abridged version of The Merchant of Venice . A fantastic production but not really appropriate for the advertised age range.

A little gem in Arnold
Aug 2019 • Couples
Great theatre and cinema. I have been to watch theatre shows, films, bands and magicians here. Always a good night out. Well priced, and friendly staff. Has free parking in the evenings, and a great pub across the road (Robin Hood and little john) for pre or post show drinks.

A Good Tidy Up
Dec 2018 • Couples
My first experience of this location.

Is it safe ?

Very steep steps up to our seats and given the number of quite mature customers I would question the safety of this Theatre.

I also found the atmosphere quite unpleasant with quite a pungent and unpleasant smell throughout the film. It also needed a good hoovering.

Good points:

1. Very reasonably priced.
2. Local
3. Easy parking - except when you leave as it’s hectic with drivers having little regards for others.

Would I go again, I might ???

Great price!
Aug 2018 • Family
I love the Bonnington in Arnold, I've visited lots of times for a theatre event and the cinema. I especially like the cinema prices, concessions are under a fiver ! So it doesn't cost a lot for an evening out. It's great there are no annoying adverts before the film. Drinks can be taken into the cinema purchased from the bar. Great night out within walking distance if a resident in Arnold. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the Bonnington.

Movie Night

I took my Husband to see Skyscraper last night. It was our first time at this cinema. It was so easy to book tickets on line the helpful receptionist handed them to us with a smile. Cinema is small but has everything there. Will go again.

Great theatre
Jan 2018 • Friends
Brilliant having a theatre only a short distance from home, no need to go into Nottingham town centre to see all the new films when you can sit in comfort and warmth and at the same time have a cuppa or a beer if you wish! Also no trailers before the film - brilliant - have been to watch many films here and will continue. Thanks for such a great facility and cheap too!

Its All Greek To Me!

Ha ha! I went to see a wonderful performance of A Midsummer Nights Dream here performed by a wonderful theatre company!! I do enjoy class acting with a nuance of raw integrity! The young people who performed were simply wonderful, and I went to see another performance by them and it was also thoroughly enjoyable!
