Lovely place for walk round

Had a Lovely walk round the park with the kids today. Lovely winters day. Inexpensive parking and you can spend a couple of hours looking inside the house which is free admission

What a lovely house and grounds. Impressed that it was free to get in. Tearoom was very slow and the caked dry, hard and stale! Just don't go to it, enjoy the house

Traditional museum. Busy but friendly and informative. Nicely set out. The gardens need some attention but the Camelia conservatory was interesting. Well worth a visit.

We go here regularly as it is very local and convenient to us. The park grounds are extensive and everywhere is dog friendly, though you must be careful of the deer which is as it should be. There is a really good children's park close to the entrance which has been recently refurbished and keeps them entertained for ages. The... More

A beautiful setting for all occasions. Enjoy with your family and friends. The grounds are scenic and offer a tranquil setting for engagements. Always be respectful to the wild life. If you feel the need to approach the deer then do so with cursion as they are wild animals and may decide to attack you if they feel threatened. Huge... More

Great place to visit for a peaceful walk. Their open air cinema in the summer is also great! Lots of diverse experiences on offer.

The grounds of the park are great. Fully accessible for pushchairs on the main walk. A huge lake for feeding ducks and geese. The little shop on the way through from the main car parks (£2 for half a day if memory serves me right) sells food for the ducks in case you forget any. Just love going here. The... More

My daughter wanted to visit for her A' level Art. We enjoyed the exhibition and she was allowed to use her camera; we were surprised that it was 'free entry'. We will return as the surroundings are beautiful, with many varied things to do throughout the year.
