The palace is amazing! It's been the most beautiful building I've ever seen! And the surrounding area is so green, there is a lot of wild animals. You don't feel like you are in a city, you feel more like in countryside. And museum is also worth to see. You can admire different animal species and also visit the palace... More

Lovely ground scary deers but cool to see them wandering close by, wouldnt advise any one without at least some sort of martial arts training to go unaccompanied, had to judo throw a deer that got too close. House is fun enough for an ironic laugh, think year 6 science lesson near the end of the term they'd roll in... More

Always enjoy a walk at Wollaton, watching the deer and golfers sharing the green! Visited the hall for the first time interesting natural history exhibits and learning about the Willoughby family. Cafe always nice to visit, good coffee and hot chocolate!

Visited on the "opening" weekend of Christmas in the courtyard at Wollaton Hall. I'm sure that Trade Description and Bing Crosby would have something to say. No mulled wine, homemade crafts and foods, obligatory cheeses, amaryllis and handmade door name plaques. Just some plastic holly around an arch. That. Was. It. I appreciate times is tough. But if you aren't... More

My other half and I stopped off at Wollaton Hall whilst staying in Nottingham and weren't disappointed. We paid £4 for parking, as we weren't sure how long we'd be there (prices vary, but this is the maximum cost and covers you for the day) and everything else was free. There are some fantastic walks around the park, a lake... More

The deer park is both amazing in winter and summer. I've been plenty of times throughout the year and it's always been enjoyable. A couple of hour walk round the outside, or just a picnic followed by a tour of the house. All must be ended with a trip to the café to try the muffins!
