An interesting step back in time. Lots of things to see set out on 2 floors. We could remember a few of them too. Artifacts from all walks of life including the pharmacy, bootmaker, laundry, corner shop and hairdressers (some of which looked pretty dangerous!)....More

Had lunch in the nearby Trip to Jerusalem pub and wandered down here. Had a really lively time wandering around, and the staff were very helpful. It is bigger inside than it looks, and could have spent longer in here if we had allowed more...More

Very informative and enjoyable museum for little money. Great thing to do in Nottingham, friendly staff and would recommend. Lots of history about Nottingham as well as some more information on the caves, Victorian life and even a WW2 shelter! Good for families too.

The "castle" didn't appeal - seemed a lot of money for what is really just an art gallery. This place, on the other hand, for just £2.50 for adults is absolutely brilliant. The museum is housed in a row of houses built around 1700 with...More
