Quite separate to the theatre, entrance is 'around the corner'. Pleasant staff, good cloakroom and clean toilets. Hall had excellent acoustics and the seating was comfortable with plenty of leg room. Performance was excellent too but that was due to the artiste's and audience, not...More

To confirm this review is on the restaurant not the Theatre. For some years this restaurant has not been very good. However after news of the recent revamp and, given its proximity to the Theatre, it seemed worth giving it another chance, We both agreed...More

This is a really nice theatre and it doesn't feel too cramped like some do. Then again we were right on the front row which would have made us less squished. Toilets were clean and the decor is nice and the show was fantastic 😊

Attended the recent production of Joseph here, but on by a local group. Was a really fantastic production, as good as anything you might see in the West End. Theatre itself is nice, with lots of atmosphere, although I found the seats a little cramped...More

Warm up act was pretty average - nice voice, but poor diction/acoustics and boringly repetitive songs. We then had to wait about 45 minutes for the main act - Caro. Not an interval as such, just sitting and waiting while the stage crew fumbled about...More

We had a comfortable and great view watching Rebus at the Theatre Royal recently. Lots of leg space. Nice bars and good humoured staff too.

The Theatre royal and Royal concert Hall in the centre of Nottingham have something between them to offer everybody and the recent play the Bank Robbery that went wrong was comply unknown to us but excellent with great performances from the cast.

Ignore my previous comment. That was for someone else. We always dress smart-casual for the theatre, but it really depends on the show we are seeing.

Viewing angles and acoustics all very good , even though Room Q is a fair way from the stage.
