We joined a group tour, ushered by a witty yet very knowledgable guide. Ambience was pretty cool down through the tunnels, steps were many but tolerable. Despite not much of breeze felt, it wasn't stuffy. All in all, it was an exciting place to visit.

Had Canadian visitors with us and took them for a guided tour of the caves. Had a really good and very informative guide who made the visit very interesting for us all.

A fascinating trip into over 1000 years of history. The guided tour is well worth the effort. Not suitable for those with poor mobility.
