Based in Nottingham’s historic Lace Market, the National Justice Museum is housed in Nottinghamshire’s Grade 2 listed old Shire Hall and County Gaol. The Museum uses original Courtrooms, dungeons and prison cells, along with a number of more contemporary galleries to exhibit collections relating to justice, the law, crime and punishment in a fun and interactive way. When visiting the museum you may also meet a variety of colourful historical characters with different stories of justice to tell.

Great actors on a great tale of history. Highly recommend if you visit nottingham. If you purchase a ticket you can also go visit the Nottingham caves! Always an eerie atmosphere and famous for its ghostly tales.

This is a real slice of Nottingham's history. From the courtroom, where at certain times one can take part in a trial through the interesting exhibits to the cells, there is plenty to see. First class.

Very interesting tour given by character guides in costume. You're given plenty of time to look around by yourself while your guide waits. After the guided tour is the exhibition, plenty of information boards for you to read. Well worth the visit, buy a joint...More
