Was here for a funeral.

I visited St, Mary's for a family funeral. It was a lovely church, with all of the usual fixtures. Well maintained and cared for.

Gives an insight into the history of the people of Nottingham. By reading all the memorials, it is clear that there were some influential families with great military connections.

It's great to walk in the church after the hustle and hustle of the shops. You can really have great faith in this place. It really is very spiritual.😊😇

Sited in the old Lace manufacturing area of Nottingham it's easy to get the feel for how it all must have been in the old days. Simply wander round the church and the area.

We were going to have a look at this church but what appeared to be the main entrance steps had some workmen attending to them and it was cordoned off. We enquired if the church was open and it was suggested we walk down the hill to the next entrance to the churchyard. We did so only to find that... More

Tried one entrance but grounds were blocked by builders, tried the next entrance but the gates were padlocked shut, finally found an entrance gate open but the church itself was shut up so we couldn’t get to go inside. If the outside was anything to go by we didn’t miss much! Although a pretty looking church the grounds were extremely... More

We stopped off here whilst wandering around Nottingham. The church and church yard are beautiful, sadly is was closed so we didn't get to see the interior. We enjoyed a picnic lunch sat beneath the blossoms. Legend has it that this is where Robin Hood was arrested.

This is a very beautiful building with a pleasant , if small churchyard . It is fairly old , the main body of the church dates back to 1377 . The stained glass windows are very nice , in fact the whole interior is lovely. Its worth a look around if you have a little time to kill and are... More

The size of this place always surprises me. It's well worth a visit. It is a relatively modern church but quite light and airy.
