Came here for a drink, it's clearly a very old building, lots of beers and ciders on offer and they must do lots of music nights too looking at the equipment. Worth a trip. Friendly staff.

Well I'm here on Business and earlier today my Boss told me that this is the oldest pub in the world (citation needed) as I'm staying a stones throw away and stumbled across the pub by chance this evening While looking for a restaurant I couldn't resist a swift pint or two in "the oldest pub in the world" Hope... We travelled for an hour to see the caves but the lady behind the bar said that there was not anybody to show us as the manager was upstairs and she was the only one there. Disappointed so we had one drink and moved on. MM.

Last time we were here was about 45 years ago and the place hasn`t changed much since. A proper pub close to the town centre. Very friendly and very helpful young lady behind the bar(loving your outfit) Cranberry juice on tap, choice of real ales and a good pint of larger for himself. Sat reminiscing that we used to come... My favourite bar in the city I make a point of drinking here when i visit Nottingham I don't know why i like it so much but it just feels right for me

What an amazing location. Sat in caves, enjoyed a great atmosphere, great prices, friendly and great service. I loved learning the history behind the public house and what it went through. What a quaint place to enjoy a beverage or few, I will go back and visit again and to me it was a super special place with a feeling.... More

Good bar with very friendly landlord /barman. Beers ok, needs more real ales.Good rock music, with live bands and beerfest' ales sometimes. Would visit again, recommended.

Popped in for a quick drink and we were greeted by friendly bar staff and a wonderful gentleman who showed us to the caves underneath the pub...unsure if he was the owner or part owner??but he gave a fascinating insight to the caves below!Brilliant place and atmosphere!Thankyou!
