On Mondays, the galleries and museums are closed in Northampton. The 19th century Guildhall was the only place open. Worth a look inside, some nice interiors on the ground floor, but it won’t take you long to see this.

This is the most loveliest building housing some gems of archetectuaral importance.
I got married here recently, it is the best place around the civic buildings for stained glass, and the great hall is superb.
Well worth a visit.
