Sometimes it is nice to go and sit somewhere green and pleasant, now Abington Park is green and some times very pleasant, of course you always get some people who spoil it for the rest of us, so shame on them....you know who you are........but...More

A really nice place to visit but lack of benches to sit on for picnics and no toilet facilities, so not the best place to spend an afternoon with children. We will not hurry back ;-(

this is a very nice park lots too do and grate scenery the cafe dose nice food i had the sausage sanwich and it tastd good

It's an amazing park, big and clean. I love the lake as well. So peaceful ☺✨ it's also a great place for family and friends picnics

Proper Victorian town park with lots of appeal in the 21st Century. It has all the things you want from a town park - cafe, bandstand (with live music some weekends), flowerbeds, a museum, and lake with ducks. And lots of families out enjoying themselves...More

Abington Park is very pretty but the only issue I have is that it is completely surrounded by busy roads which can be dangerous for young kids and dogs. There is a cafe, museum, tennis courts and play area for kids so plenty going on....More

and of course when the sun is shining. Rather small but there are two parts to the park separated by a busy road. Small lake with ducks and geese and coots. Paths to walk along. Pleasant place for a stroll.
