We enjoyed the gardens and were surprised how good they were looking despite the dry summer. Plenty of plants to buy. We plan to return next spring to see the bluebell wood.

We spent a very enjoyable 3 hours walking the grounds and enjoying lunch in the tea rooms. The gardens were beautiful and tranquil and there were plenty of seats for breaks. You can also purchase plants.

It is a home to the charming couple who own and run the garden. They obviously need a bit of peace and quiet sometime.
