Matthew Bourne is just amazing and did not fail to entertain and provoke this week. Derngate presented his work sensitively; as always the quality of dance was breathtaking. A joy.

Really enjoyable and funny show! Well done Bernie! The two supporting acts were spot on too. Laughed so much and still chuckling now when I think about cleaning the rubbish and the skinny jeans! Good luck in Edinburgh.

We visited the Derngate to see a Matthew Bourne ballet so I knew the show would be great. The theatre is lovely and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Our seats were really good with excellent views of the stage and we had plenty of leg room. There is plenty of eating and drinking places nearby and good... More

This place offers an average stage to perform on but the best part about this fern gate is the unmissable shows that they put on, I would recommend it for any event and to anybody.

We are regular theatre goers and use both the Derngate and Royal Theatre. We visit several times a year and have seen some fantastic productions here.

Love this theatre. Always welcoming and helpful to myself and family even tho our additional needs are not obvious. Very happy to welcome my daughter with her young baby (still breastfeeding) into the show and to make arrangements for a quick exit if needed! (we didn't) Very inclusive friendly place with fab shows. Saw Sister Act most recently...loved it!

I went here with my sister to watch sister act last night and the show was really good but despite having got to Northampton for 7pm with plenty of time to get a drink etc before the show we ended up having to run as couldn't find anywhere to park! Northampton in general is a nightmare for parking and so... More
