The Derngate has excellent acoustics and stage lighting. The seats are gently tiered so you can see well wherever you sit. The seating area is comfortably and there is plenty of leg room. The foyer area is pleasant with two bars and a hot drinks...More

This is a fully restored Victorian theatre..really lovely. State of the art concert hall..Derngate. Never fails to deliver. Lots of varied artists and orchestra's together with musicals and plays..Great venue

Hi. From my experience of visiting the Royal and Derngate once seated the staff would be ok to allow you to move seats if you have restricted view or they are not suitable for other reasons. Enjoy your visit to the theatre. More

You can eat before the show and bring in snacks and drinks from the bar to shows.
