We visited Brixworth primarily to use our bikes on a week day when local schools were in term time. We parked the car, £3.00 pay and display additional 50p if paying by card no distance from the play area so were able to leave the picnic in the car and set off around the reservoir. You can go around the... More

It has a cafe (Didn't go in), a toilet (ok), a bike hire (£11.99 for an adult), a reasonable play park (more for younger kids though), a large lake, 3 nature walks (30 min, 60 min and 90 min walks), brass rubbing posts doted around etc etc. Which are all good things! I would how ever, still rate this Country... More

This is a lovely county walk - can make it as long or short as you want. The only downside when walking peacefully is the constant use of bells by bike riders as they come upon you and speed past

The park was great, kept the children entertained for ages. Walked along the dam which was nice. The toilets by the bike shop were disgusting!! Wee all over the floor in one of the ladies cubicles so used the toilet in the restaurant. Restaurant was slow but ok. £3 for the day parking was normal. I would recommend this place... More

Took advantage of the lovely weather to visit here. Good stroll round the reservoir. Plenty of parking not too pricey pushchair and wheelchair friendly

This is a great place to visit in Summer, but it can get breezy around some parts of the lake. I tend to use it for cycling. It is a great and interesting few miles around. The grass area leading to the water's edge is a great area for family picnics.

The park is great especially for families with children, Lots of things to do especially for small children. You can,if you are feeling energetic, cycle or walk around Pitsford reservoir. Plenty of seats some with good views across the water.. We decided to have a quick sandwich in the cafe. The toasted sandwiches took in total 40 minutes to arrange,... More

Visited during half term with a very autistic 13 year old boy. Really enjoyed our time, short walk, quick play on the park and a drink/snack from the cafe. It was the highlight of his week. Only question I have come away with is "Why are there no litter bins?" I understand that you'd need to employ someone to empty... More

Absolutely loved walking around the country park. clean, the views are great but the only thing I would say is there are no bins of which we found on any of the walks and the cafe was really dirty, under staffed and I didn't even dare try the food. The picnic benches we saw as we walked round looked abit... More
