Having seen the grounds of another Northamptonshire country estate, Boughton House, only a couple of weeks previously, the contrast between the two was very clear to us. In short, Cottesbrooke House gardens are so much better. Yes, we visited on a lovely, hot, sunny, blue...More

Lovely house. Have not given 5 stars as the guided tour felt a bit rushed. Beautiful gardens . Would definitely recommend as a half-day/day out. Apparently the tea rooms are good too although I didn't get to go😔

We finally made it. After many years of wanting to get here! We started with a tour of the house, and whilst the guide was good, the content of the talk was biased towards the collection of horse paintings, with little else but a passing...More
