Best hot chocolate that I have ever had. Different chocolate bars etc were very expensive but on holiday you buy these things. I did buy a chocolate slab with banana but not eaten it yet.

Fun tour of York's chocolatey history which we found very informative and illuminating. Staff were friendly and the tour guide (Steven) was very entertaining - I particularly liked the bit with him interacting with the various historical photos of the factory owners. Plenty of chocolates...More

We've already visited Cadbury World. This was a lot smaller but we learnt a lot more. Great guide (thanks Alfie), interesting and interactive. Would certainly recommend. Thank you.

For a student the price was a bit high but the experience is definitely worth it. York's Chocolate Story gives insight into the history of chocolate in general and in York specifically, with taste tests to accompany it. Really cool experience with a creative take...More

enthusiastic friendly guides and wee samples on the tour enjoyable visit shop/ cafe was busy and perhaps understaffed for the amount of people who arrive at the end of a tour only two tills to process both shop and cafe

there's parking in the city but we use the Park and Ride at Askham Bar, free parking and £2.90 return on the bus.
