A little out of town we had to street park on the other side of Tadcaster Road. Well worth a visit. We had a great welcome with very clear explanation. Really pleasant and knowledgeable guides in each room. We loved hearing about Terry's history and...More

What a deligthis place is. You can so imagine the Terry family living there, it has such a homely feel and the gardens are such a surprise, so large and interesting features. The factory exhibition is informative and like stepping back in time seeing how...More

This NT property has one glaring problem and that's the lack of parking on site; I did eventually find a spot around a 5 minute walk away after a 20 minute search. Once on site things greatly improved with 8 rooms or so open to...More

The volunteer guides at Godddards House are an asset to the National Trust. Their enthusiasm and knowledge of the family and the house made my visit so enjoyable. Thank you. In the absence of a guide book, their knowledge and enthusiasm was much appreciated.

Electric scooters are allowed in the house but there is no lift so only the ground floor is accessible with an electric scooter.
