What a great place this is! Walking through there were constant reminders of our childhood from games to the way houses were furnished. The reconstructed street was superbly done with all sorts of buildings shops and even a police station and school room. The war...More

A good place to spend an afternoon. Very interesting with much to see and do. I'd particularly recommend the WW1 rooms. Also great are the reform prison areas. Our teenage girls loved the Toy Story.

One of the best Museums we’ve ever visited. Huge range of exhibits and displays covering WW1, family’s, fashion, toys etc. We all really enjoyed it - well worth a visit.

The museum is excellent. The history is fantastic. The old street exhibit is so realistic. Very helpful staff if you needed questions answered. You need lots of time to see everything as it's such a big museum.

Walked through both sides of the exhibitions in the castle museum. Interesting interactive exhibits including a late 20th Century Kitchen which looked eerily like our old kitchen when we moved into our house in 1994. The second half of the Museum and the fact that...More

There isn't a seniors discount at the York Castle Museum but because my Grand daughter went in for free the £10.00 seemed very reasonable to me, we spent a good 2 hours in there with lots to see and interact with, good value... More
