Had a walk through here at half term - watch out for the cheeky squirrels who know no fear. Such a beautiful well kept area

Make sure to take your camera with you as this place is amazing. Not only may you walk through but actually enjoy all the different, various parts of the park. Unless it's raining, you shall definitely go for it.

The museum gardens are the best place to stay out at York. You can bring your food and just enjoy them sitting on the park, watching the pigeons, chimpmunks, etc... In the sunny days is the perfect place to enjoy outside.

even though the weather was a bit cold, a great place to take a break from the city. Lovely buildings nearby too.

Lovely small and quiet park near to the centre of York which we found by accident walking from our hotel into town. Also in the park grounds to see is the ruins of St Mary's Abbey and the Yorkshire Museum.

Over £60 for my family to slip our way around a rip off experience which had illuminations sponsored by confectioners? Dismal and poor throughout. The girl on the interactive feature, playing Some bells, looked like a hostage, and not a happy one. Selling a snack...More

Rather expensive for the Christmas light display. My granddaughter of 4 years old was delighted with the lights but we were underwhelmed. It cost nearly £40 for two adults and a 4 year old so we thought that it was overpriced.

In the museum there is a lift to all floors and disabled toilets in the basement. There is a ramp leading to the entrance and there are ramps all around the gardens plus lots of benches to sit on and watch the world go by... More

From Bootham turn into Marygate and turn right just before the Bay Horse into the car park. After leaving your car return to Marygate and the entrance to the gardens is adjacent to St Olave's Church. There are no toilets... More
