Came down for a lovely walk along the pier great to be up close looking out to sea and seeing a couple of seals. Nice to sit and watch the boats come in and out.

81 steps from bottom to top in a spiral stone staircase - mind your head as you step out onto the balcony - great views. Well worth the effort if the climber has plenty of puff. £1.50 per adult.

We loved walking along the pier to the lighthouses, the sea was rough and spectacular to watch. Lovely views from there also.

Even if the wind is blowing and the rain hammering down, so worth the walk up the pier to take in the views of the abbey and harbour, piers are an endangered species so take advantage whilst you can

You can stroll down the busier side of the harbour and at the mouth there is the old small light house which used to guide sailors and explorers back to berth. You can also climb to the top(no disabled access)

We worth a the climb for a different prospective of this lovely fishing port. The doorway at the top is a little low, but the views are superb.
