By chance we passed by on a Riverside Walk on just the right morning of the week for this amazing place to be open. We were captivated by the machines, the friendly welcome, the informative explanations of the various processes. Quite made our day! Superb and highly recommended.

Well worth going to. The staff were knowledgeable and very passionate about all the equipment and showed how it worked. Allow a good 2 plus hours for your trip

Well tucked away, and little publicised, but very important in a city where publishing was once a very big industry. Highly recommended, but very limited opening hours, so worth checking beforehand.

Like all small and specialist museums, you probably need some vague interest in the subject to be attracted to this sort of place. If you have any interest in traditional printing - or even if you are just interested in early engineering achievements - then this is definitely worth a visit. Only open for half a day a week, it... We went as part of the Heritage Open Days and it was well worth a visit. Our son who has got Asperger syndrome was fascinated by all the different machinery and so was my husband.

We had been planning to visit this museum for some time and finally made there this week. What a great place to visit. Very knowledgable and friendly staff who obviously enjoy imparting this knowledge to visitors. They take you through the history of printing and how it evolved, and numerous types of printing machines can been seen working. If you... More

I've wanted to visit for a number of years and the place didn't disappoint. Very knowledgeable staff whose experience and enthusiasm shone through. As a graphic designer I found this place hugely inspirational and I would certainly recommend it to anyone interested in type and printing. Highly recommended!

Situated alongside the river, The John Jarrold print museum is a fantastic place to visit. Although vintage printing techniques began to die off there has been a massive resurgence in the last twenty odd years, the museum allows you to be transported back to a beautiful era. The staff were welcoming and full of facts and I can't recommend going... More

An excellent tour and demo of printing through the ages by four wonderful characters who volunteer their skills in this museum. I arranged a special visit to Norwich one weekend and asked if by any chance the museum would be open. It wouldn't normally have been, but the lovely gents opened it up especially for us on Saturday, and I'm... More
