It was a lovely day, which helped but this was a great walk and a good picnic spot. It is also a good way to get across the city, avoiding the traffic.

This was a sunny morning and we took this walk from our hotel St Giles House. The route to the river took us through nice quaint streets in Norwich to the River. The first short part of the walk is nothing special, but then it...More

I love Norwich City and the beautiful, quiet riverside walk, taking in some historical places such as Cow Tower, The Great Hospital with its Swannery and Bishops Bridge. Lots of seating along the river so plenty of places to stop and rest. I love Pulls...More

This walk took us past the cathedral and cricket pitch where a match was underway. There are plenty of seats to stop and take a rest while you watch life for by.

Where do you start the river walk ? We would like to take my mother who is terminally ill and in a wheel chair and we would ideally would like to take her before she is bed bound.

You can park either near the Adam & Eve pub behind the cathedral or you can probably park at the Red LIon pub on Bishopsgate. Hope you can make it there, lovely at the moment with the daffodils out.
