We visited the castle for my brother's wedding last year. It has a lovely charm about it and the weather and the beautiful setting helped us to ignore the conveyor belt feeling of one bride in one bride out.

This was our first visit since the Museum had a massive regeneration. We were all impressed with the way the Keep was displayed. We went particularly to view the Dolls houses - amazing (on loan from London until end of June 2017). Need to book in advance if you hope to view the dungeon and go up to the battlements.

Very little in this museum. Some of the areas looked like things had been brought in from a jumble sale. Really dissapointing for a day out, we covered it in 45 minutes. It looked as if many of the displays had been sold off because I hear 10 years ago you could spend hours in there. It was over priced... More

The "but" in my title refers to the detraction of this attraction caused by school parties!! I find it great that kids are learning history by why can they not be kept under control! I may sound like Victor Meldrew but our visit here was totally spoiled by young children--screaming!!

Spent a lovely day wandering round this castle with our friends from Texas. Had a snack and a drink at the cafe. Loved the dolls house exhibition on loan from V&A museum. Lots of photo opportunities. Great interaction with dispays for children.

Fine museum inside with birds, animals, pottery and displays of warfare (Norfolk Regiment). The art galleries are worth study with special exhibitions sometimes.

Lovely place full of history and many interesting areas. Plenty to see and do. The animals are always a highlight. My one criticism is that the signage is not very clear so you can easily find yourself walking in circles. Also the lift is pretty small when you have a pram with you!

I took some visiting friends to Norwich Castle which I enjoyed visiting as a child. We were fortunate enough to speak to one staff member, aptly named Gawain, in the castle keep. He took the time to show us around and explain all manner of fascinating details about the castle and its history. I have probably visited the castle over... More

The range of exhibits in the Castle Museum is fantastic. There is something for everyone, and something for you to come back time and time again. The dioramas appeal to young children but the teapot collection, art and so much more will appeal to adults.

Really interesting and varied attraction - lots to see and do. Deceptively large - we didn't expect to be there as long as we were! We were particularly interested by the gaol and the castle itself. A really interesting place which is well run.
