More of a museum and art gallery than a Norman castle experience but worth a visit if you are in the town.

This museum is a bit expensive, although we got a discount for a carer and for a disabled child. Loads of local history to see, including local military history, sections on the egyptians, loads to see about the life of the castle inside and out,...More

The Castle closes at 4.30pm if you visit an hour before closing time entry fee is only £2, it is difficult to see all of the exhibits in this short time, but well worth going.
