Rented a Fineways boat, diesel is best as it goes further and isn't affected by the reeds/weeds in the water. Great service from the staff. Given a map and tips n tricks about our trip. Stopped in a few pubs on the way, saw our first Heron and fell in love with The Broads. Great day out, get out there... More

I have moved back to Norwich from Papua New Guinea after some 5 years. Every time I go to the broads I love it. Mostly for meals out in the Ferry inn at Horning.love the marina,

Even on the coldest days, this area offers many attractions. From welcoming pubs to 'twitching'. In the summer, it is exceptional.

I have been coming to the Broads for almost 60 years. The bustle of people holidaying in summer, The generally mild days and beautiful colours of autumn. The crisp, cold days of winter showing off the big skies and then a cosy pub in the evening. Spring is usually quiet on the rivers and a lovely time for watching the... More

An absolute peach of an area to visit. Many a trip can be planned, either as a day tripper or for the week or two. Walking, cycling or boating are the main means of chasing that leisurely pursuit. The flora and fauna are a delight to those wishing to leave the bustle behind. There are different species for the differing... More

The time spend in Norwich especially the Broads was an unforgettable one. Beautiful Norwich, with the Norwich Castle and the History. The Broads are clean, beautiful and one for your bucket list.

Was in Norfolk in the summer. People were very friendly, lovely places to visit, the weather was good. Surprised how many up to date restaurants were available & serving good honest food. Norwich is a beautiful City, very calm & easy to access.

In other words different people are suited for different things. Now I live on the Broads, near Wroxham to be exact. Wroxham is the capital of The Broads. I'm only going to mention Wroxham otherwise I'll be here all night. If you like boating or sailing, canoeing, hiring a motor boat etc. etc. and looking at water then this is... More

Not far from Norwich, but a great place for a walk, getting close to swans and having a decent Earl Grey with a very fine sausage roll. Parking not always a treat though: the machine got our number plate wrong (but we guessed and paid anyway) and last time the machine was down so we had to go on-line later.... More
