Most people walk past this with their eyes on the Clock Tower or Parliament. It’s an impressive building though and has its own history that’s worth looking into. It sits on top of the Cabinet War Rooms as well.

The HM Treasury is located next to the cabinet war rooms and next to the foreign office in Westminster close to The Houses of Parliament and Parliament Square. The best underground station is Westminster station.

Lovely building with great architecture on the route to Westminster Abbey, access was restricted by security and iron railings. Worth a glance as you stroll by.

We visited on open house weekend, I understand that the architecture may be of some interest to some but I found it cold and boring!

This is especially worth a visit. It has a free open day once a year. The staff are very helpful and very knowkedgeable.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
