College of Arms is a fine 17th century building next to the Faraday Building and is connected with all things heraldic, coats of arms and such. At the entrance is a great example of the royal coat of arms.

Located on Queen Victoria Street below st. Paul's Cathedral. To access this very interesting attraction, it's best to travel by bus in either direction & get off at St. Paul's, naturally. Turn down at the side of the Nat. Firefighters' Memorial until you reach Qn...More

The College of Arms was founded in 1484. It has nothing to do with weapons. It is the official body that regulates the use of coats of arms and other heraldic emblems. The College is housed in a building that replaced its earlier home that...More

The College of Arms is housed in a beautiful 1670- era mansion. The daily business of the College is involved with existing and new applications for coats of arms and family history research. There is not much to see if you go as a casual...More

Perhaps unwisely, we turned up one day at the College of Arms thinking we would be able to have a look round what is obviously a very interesting and historical place. However, it turns out that only one small room, which is also the entrance...More

Just the building is fun but you can go inside to visit the historic hall. Interesting displays, especially the James Bond script annotated with comments by one of the then Heralds, very amusing. The coat of arms on display was very fine too, and some...More

I didn't go into the College or have them figure out my Coat of Arm, but this building was used in the Bond film OHMSS and was the main reason I checked it out. It is a beautiful old building and looks very much the...More
