This Sam Smith’s pub has so many original features of it’s Edwardian heritage that it has to be seen to be believed. Well-kept beer, maybe not exciting enough for some, was served up in a proper old-style pub withour bells and whistles, the latest match,...More

Food was very disappointing, and portion sizes mean and stingy. Poor value for money.I had fish n chips. Greasy and not very good. My friend's so called Hunter's Chicken bore no resemblance to the dish as it is usually understood. Go for the decor, the...More

Upstairs restaurant; lovely, very traditional room with open fire. Good, inexpensive menu with lots of appealing vegetarian options. Three filling main courses, soft drinks before & tea and coffee afterwards; £40 all in. Happy with the service.

We were looking for a British lunch in a British pub, and I got it. The dining is upstairs which served me well since it was less noisy that downstairs. We waited 10 minutes for a table. We had stake and kidney pie and drank...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
