This is built in memory of Sir William James by his wife. It overlooks Eltham and London. There is a nice little coffee shop. Limited opening hours - and do not plan to visit at 4 pm ! Local school makes access hairy !

I'm not sure, but I saw an event advertised in the local Mercury paper and went straight to Severndroogs website but it was fully booked. I am going to regularly check their website in future

The castle has its own free car park down a signposted lane next to christchurch school. Entry to the castle is £3 or £2.50 for concessions. But very sorry there is no lift as it is a small 250 yr old building.
