It took us a while to find the pergola but it was definitely worth it. It's very romantic and wistful-looking. Would be perfect for an artsy photo shoot or music video, or an outdoor production of Romeo and Juliet. Would like to revisit!

What can I say... a magnificent place to spend at least an hour and have a picnic. So gorgeous it takes your breath away. And completely free as well!

Travelers fortunate to unlock UK Heritage’s best kept secret, the Hill Garden & Pergola await. Tip: Google Maps’ directions end at a private road but pedestrians can enter.

I've spent the whole day lying on the grass and sunbathing (well...not quite in London lol), Beautiful place for a Sunday or Bank Holiday. Nice place to connect with nature and calm your mind down.

This is an amazing place especially if you want something relaxing, inspiring and simulating. The previous review to this one made the comment about no photograph - indeed the large boards by each entry point clearly states no photography and a permit is required. It...More

In May and June it closes at 8:30 PM: 22 May - 23 July 8.30pm 24 July - 20 August 7.30pm It is part of Golders Green Park, but there is a gate for Pergola Hill that closes somewhat earlier than the main park.
