I really want this pub to be a 'great food pub', primarily for personal convenience reasons...I live 150m away and eat out a lot! It is no doubt a 'great drinks pub'; good beer/ale selections, fresh/cosy decor, genuinely friendly/helpful staff, nice down to earth feel,...More

We had a Sunday Roast at the Tulse Hill Tavern this weekend, and it was an absolutely delicious meal, and the service was top draw. £16.50 is more than you would usually pay for a pub roast in the area (for the beef) however, the...More

I've drank here quite a few times since the pub was recently refurbished and I've really enjoyed drinking here. The staff are very friendly and they have a good selection of beers. All in all a nice warm pub atmosphere. Also they had a bagpipe...More

The renovation work is fantastic and it is a very smart place now with what looks like a good beer garden. It was a bitterly cold night so after being put on a table near the door we were moved to another table next to...More

I would highly recommend this place for dinner, we had a great evening here. The staff made us feel very welcome, especially the girl from Northern Ireland.

It's busy. Clearly too busy for the kitchen. I've eaten here 3 times. And my last meal was dreadful. And expensive, appalling value The time before we had a cold and partly uncooked Sunday roast. Don't eat here but the beer is good and the...More

We had a really good meal at the Tulse Tavern at the start of January so I booked the function room for my husbands 40th Birthday. It was a lovely room but thats where the compliments stop. The staff basically forgot about us and we...More

We had lunch with our two daughters as a birthday celebration. The waiter was a little confused and although we had booked a table for four when we arrived first he took us to a table for two. Two of us chose the cheeseburger and...More

Went here for lunch on a Saturday. The menu looked promising, and they have a good selection of beer on tap. Sadly, the service was poor (very slow, confused, shambolic) and the food did not live up to the prices. I had a lonely little...More
