We went for dinner based on the TA reviews. I'd had my first English steak/ale pie and fish/chips at a gastro pub in Newcastle and was blown away. I could go on and on about the crust, the beef etc. So, we ordered the same...More

This pub offers good food and is popular. It is always busy, yet they took care of our family of four quite well. We were seated quickly. The food was above average pub grub. We had the Roast Pork Loin and the Roast Sirloin. Both...More

We ate there twice and the food was always good, there was also a good selection of beer - nothing like a cold ale on a hot day.

Maybe a 4 compared to white tablecloth restaurants but a 5 + for atmosphere and food.  Great  British pub on Earls Court Rd. London.  I had the steak pie and Linda had fish and chips. We both enjoyed them immensely. A great place only 50...More

The Blackbird was not too far from our hotel and we really wanted to experience an English breakfast. It took a while for us to be served but then the food came out reasonably quickly. There seemed to only be one waitress for the whole...More

Great service and atmosphere still. Was here three years ago and made sure to book a hotel close to Earl's Court in order to visit The Blackbird again. Thanks guys!

Sat in the pub on a very quiet afternoon, after sitting at our table for 15 minutes watching the waitress ignore our efforts to get her attention we had to go to the bar and order. Thankfully however the food was gorgeous. I'd honestly consider...More

Very busy, wonderful ambience. Middle age crowd. Great range of beers and fabulous food menu that even lists their suppliers. Wasn't sure what ale to try so barman gave me a tasting. Very helpful.

Had their steak and mushroom pie and was not disappointed. Delicious. Just wish I had time to go back and try another.

1 min walk from hotel, friendly staff and good feel about the place, a proper pub. Had booked a table in a local restaurant but wish we hadn't bothered and stayed here as food looked good too.

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Sorry, but I don't know if dogs are allowed. I didn't notice an outside dining area, which is the usual requirement for dogs to be included (at least in the US).
