Had the burger and chips off the menu and a couple of drinks on a weekday evening.
The burger was really nice however the chips were quite dry. The service was also really slow and the bar staff unfriendly.
Visited here as a party of 18 to celebrate a works project milestone. We hired two tables and had a great evening with food and drinks also. The bar lady was very friendly and polite so don’t believe all your read on here.
Nice American Pool bar in the Clerkenwell neighbourhood. Pool and drinks are affordable but the staff could be nicer at times. Food is alright but nothing special and unless you’re starving - some good options a stone throw away!
Went to 1920 with my team for our social.
Nice bar with few pool tables, it's on the tiny side but there was enough room for all the people to play at ease. We also had drinks and plates of fast food style food, which...More
Visited a Tuesday night and managed to get a walk in table. Most tables were in use. Beer was reasonably priced and we got good value out of our hour table.
Very cool music. Lots of remixed old classics. Enjoyed it.
Visited for a work function - the Pool tables were good and we had some great games! This was let down however by some very rude staff and some very poor food - the staff were inattentive and unhelpful, their training on cocktail/general drinks making...More
We went here for a pool tournament but staff were rude and far from accommodating. We were chucked off a table as time was up but they wouldn't let us play on even if we paid to do so, despite the next booking not even...More
Really good bar / food / pool place in Farringdon / Clerkenwell.
Great staff - nice choice of drinks - beers and cocktails and the added benefit of pool and foosball- what's not to like!!
Food was nice and tasty - typical London prices.
Booked for a friends birthday on a Saturday night. Deposit paid and table booked. On arrival at 630 told the booking is on at 730. At 730 the staff "can't find the table". Wasted our time so we went elsewhere!
Don't bother, so many nice...More
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
