Lovely pub, friendly manager and staff. We just happened upon it and went in for 1 drink and ended up staying for the evening and having our dinner there. All three of us enjoyed our food. Mix of locals and tourists. Close to Bayswater and...More

Usual Stonegate cask selection - St Austell, Pride, Landlord. Beer lacked a bit of condition but was OK. Nothing particularly wrong with it but it's not a place that you'd go out of your way for. Food looked cheaper than the beer, so I suspect...More

This is a terrific London Pub with great food, service, and beers. They also have the premiere league games on if you are interested in watching (a lot of pubs do not show matches). Order the steak and ale or shepherds pie!

Stopped by for lunch, the bar man said that the kitchen is going to open in 10 mins. A pint and half an hour later no sign. Moved on. Funny smell in the bar too. Disappointed. It's Saturday afternoon in July. If you can't get...More

We went twice. First time was for lunch and drinks, the bartender was friendly but didn't have the ingredients to make 1/2 the cocktails listed on the menu. Says they are mostly a beer / ale place. The food however was excellent. There were 4...More

Visited this pub twice in two days. Football on TV made this small pub a bit to crowdy the first day, but the second day without football was great. Nice staff and good pints --> all in all, a great pub.

The hotel is easily reached from Bayswater or Queensway underground stations. We preferred the extra hundred yards of the latter as much better rail links. The reception staff are friendly and will sort any issues very quickly. Our room had all lights either all on...More

Visited for lunch after reading reviews of speciality pies and sausages. Somewhat over rated with a small menu choice, food was tasty but would benefit from hot plates as it was just warm. Beer was well kept, with examples on the bar, I think the...More
