Small seating areas both Inside and out, not very comfortable in either. The staff were friendly enough but fairly uninterested in all honesty. Huge array of drinks on offer, some very expensive but others reasonable. The mango cider was nice if not a touch too...More

Good Pale Ale's, close to the station, on the way to the academy, and an outside seating area in a quieter street. Perfect!

Came here for some drinks with friends (late 20s) on Saturday. We decided to sit upstairs as downstairs was busy and quite loud and upstairs was empty. We were having a normal conversation and a few giggles when a member of staff came upstairs and...More

Tried it again as going to a gig at the Academy. Service had much improved despite the big crowd. Great range of beers. Not cheap but if you want great beer you have to pay for it. Well worth a visit.

Huge selection of craft beers and ales. they offer deals on taking away and still serve the standard spirits. Prices very reasonable for location, and much cheaper than other places in the area.

We were taken here for post-lunch beers by my wife's son and his girlfriend who have just moved in together nearby - my first visit here but I have tried other outlets under the same name. The range of ales on cask/keg or in cans/bottles...More

I don't like to leave bad reviews. My partner runs a bar and he says they just get someone fired so I won't mention the staff. Brought here by friends. First pint was fine if a little dull. Second pint tastes of a detergent a...More

Popped in on route from Brixton tube to the Brixton Academy, wow what a great range of beers! You have a row of hand pumps on the bar and even more taps up above. They give you a taster first if you ask, I recommend...More

I know a bit about real ale. I've been drinking it for 30+ years, I've been a member of CAMRA for 25, I'm an award-winning brewer for a living, and I judge regional beer competitions across the UK. So when I take a pint back...More

HI Rob, We are obviously sorry to have left you so disappointed on this occasion, but happy to know numerous earlier visits led you to be a return visitor. We don't think that its really a factor that the Assistant Manager was either female or...More
