The best pub in the area. Great real ale selection. I have been going there for years and its getting better and better. A lovely mix of people, from locals to students and local artist...I love the new decoration.

Came across this lovely friendly little pub on a day out walking near the Thames. What a super find. Real ales, extensive bottled beer menu too. Cosy bar, friendly welcome. Just what we needed to break the journey up a bit.

If you want a quiet, unpretentious, old fashioned pub selling good home cooked food and well looked after real ales (many awards in evidence on the walls) then look no further. This place is an utter treasure.
