The park is extremely varied with a little farm, sporting opportunities, boating et cetera. Currently, however, there is a lot of interest for children in the repair work on the 'dinosaurs' (although, strictly speaking not all the depicted beasts are dinosaurs as the collection includes non-sauropod reptiles, extinct amphibians and even some mammals- notably Giant elk and sloths). Young children... More

This park is much larger than I expected and it's takes at least 20 minutes to walk from one end to the other (downhill!) and much longer to circumnavigate it. As well as lots of open space for dog walking, picnics and playing, there are other unusual things here. There is a huge sports space in the centre including a... More

We walk our dogs here most days. It is very dog friendly. There are plenty of car parking areas. There are refreshment opportunities inside and outside the park. The park is beautiful. It looks as though lots of money is being spent on the dinosaurs and their refurbishment. Lovely grounds, well cared for. We love it.

Visited Son in his new place in Sydenham and he suggested going to the park.... As a life-long fan of The Glaziers (aka CPFC..... aka The Eagles) I was keen to visit the "home" of the original Crystal Palace.... LOVED IT!! Something for everyone with a great Dinosaur display, Cafe, open spaces AND the foundations still showing of The Crystal... More

Took my 2 year old to visit the playground, lake, dinosaurs and petting farm. We really enjoyed it (though he was a little afraid of the loudly bleating sheep)! It's fantastic that all this is free given that so many lesser attractions for children charge a fee. Only thing is I wish the step-free routes were signposted as we arrive... More

One of my favourite London parks and the staff in the cafe are really friendly! Recommend the dinosaur zone and with a refurb coming can only get better!

My wife and I travelled a long way (1.5 hours or more) to take a historical tour of the site of the old Crystal Palace, starting at the museum, which is open on Sundays only. The museum was good and the curator very knowledgeable. We had arrived quite early so looked around the museum a bit and the decided to... More
